Who are we ?
A group of teenagers from 14-18 who enjoy meeting together to encourage
and support each other and have fun together. We meet once a fortnight.
What do we
do ?
We start the evening with drinks and the biscuit tin does several rounds
of the room!
Our aim is to
encourage the young people to have a greater understanding of the
Christian faith and to make it relevant to them. Life for teenagers can
be so pressured, so we try to discuss issues that we face at home, at
school and with friends and how we can deal with them.
We have a varied
programme, often starting with an icebreaker and then following on with
the topic for the evening. We sometimes study a specific book of the
Bible and see what God is saying to us today, or discuss current issues
and find out what God has to say to us in His word, or sometimes just
chill and chat. We often end up praying together about personal issues
and encourage each other as we see God answering our prayers.

What’s special about the group ?
We are just special !!!!
We really care for each other and lasting friendships are nurtured –
people looking out for each other; sharing the ups and downs of life;
showing how following Jesus can lead to very practical expressions of
our faith. |
